Subject: Next At Large Chapter meeting tomorrow night

Hello All:

This is an invitation to all who receive this to set aside a couple of hours
tomorrow night, April 9 at 7:00 P.M. to join in on the monthly conference
call of the At Large Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of
California.

This month, we will focus on the plans for the seventy fifth annual
convention of the organized blind movement. Dr. tenBroek and Dr. Newell
Perry could never have imagined that what they invisioned seventy five years
ago would have not only sustained itself but also grown and played a major
role in the education, training and employment of blind people in this
country.

The names and faces have changed, but the purpose and goals have stayed the
same. We know that blindness is not what holds you back. Help us to help
others lead full, independent and productive lives.

See you on the call. 712-432-0175 access code 184220 pound.

The National Federation of the blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams.

You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.

Thank you,

Mary Willows, President NFBC
