Hello Chapter Family,

I'm writing at the request of President Christina. As you are aware,
thousands of children and adults lost everything as a result of the
devastating Bute Camp Fire. Our Chapter family has the opportunity to help
other families. Let's pull together and lend a helping hand to this
community and truly change what it means to be blind and show compassion.

On Tuesday December 11th, the night of the Holiday Party, please bring
personal hygiene items such as tooth paste, deodorant or feminine hygiene
products. Or, you may wish to bring new socks, T-shirts or gloves. Many of
these items can be found at Grocery Bargain Outlet in SF or at Dollar
Stores, or in my case -the hall closet. Please do not wrap these items.

Prior to December 11th I will identify an organization such as the Red Cross
who will accept our donated items. I will accept responsibility for
ensuring these items are delivered to the organization. However, should
another chapter member wish to help me out I would welcome your support.

Please contact me on-list if you have any questions.

Respectfully,

Lisa Irving
