I extended an invitation to the students participating in our employment Immersion training and staying at the Lighthouse residence rooms to attend our meeting tonight! Hello Everyone,
At tonight’s meeting, we’ll spend the first 30 or so minutes talking about state convention. This is the registration link: http://www.nfbcal.org/convention/ I am sending out the link to the Presidential Release as we will not have time to listen to it tonight. Here is the October 2019 Presidential Release. It’s also available on the podcast “National Federation of the Blind Presidential Release English”.
During the last hour of our meeting, we will be meeting with Yue-Ting Siu, Associate Professor at San Francisco State University. She is Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments. She will be joined both in person by video conference by students who will be future Teachers of the Blind and Visually Impaired. This is our chance to give our thoughts on the best way they can with blind students and our own experiences.
