Youth of Tomorrow’s workshop in September – Exploring Careers and
Informational Interviews, we will put together the skills we’ve learned
throughout the year to conduct an informational interview to explore
careers! Informational interviews are an excellent way to get an inside
look into careers. Unlike an interview for a job, you can get inside
information about what it is like to do someone’s job to figure out whether
the job is for you.

In this workshop, we will talk informally about careers we’d like to
explore and practice conducting our own informational interviews in a fun
and relaxed atmosphere. We will also discuss the purpose of an
informational interview and how to start networking to find someone to
interview as well as come up with questions so that you are ready to
conduct an informational interview on your own.

Workshop - Sept 26 from 10 am - 12pm PDT

Who: Youth with visual impairments ages 14-24

Where: Zoom link to be sent the week of the event
