■ Sheela Gunn brought up the regional transit measure and how it will be
voted on by the 5 big counties and fund transit for the future. You can
reach out to senior & disability action at
sdaction.org
 for information on what you can do.
■ Bobbi reminded folks to make sure their voter registration is up to date,
you can check on
sos.ca.gov
 or other websites.
■ Marco mentioned when you get
a mail in
 ballot, there is a QR code to a website to complete a version of the
ballot and then print it out and mail it back.
■ There are accessible voting machines that work similar to an ATM where
you
had
 headphones and options to adjust speech speed and language with tactile
buttons.
■ Randolph
 Shephard Act was limited due to a decision last year, but that has now
been undone.
■ 4 states dropped out
of Texas
 vs Kennedy case, leaving only Texas, Alaska, and Florida. This case is
challenging section 504 of the

Rehabiliation
 Act.
■ The homestead act which allows people with disabilities to live in normal
communitiesand
 not skilled nursing facilities is also under attack.
