The window to apply to have one’s name added to the list is very narrow, so please do not wait if you, or someone you know, is interested in taking advantage of this rare opportunity. I believe the chance to put one’s name on the list only happens once a year or so, and there are just a few days in which one may do so.

Elderly/Disabled Waiting List Opening March 15 -19, 2018 The Alexandria Redevelopment and Housing Authority is officially opening the Public Housing waiting list for Elderly/Disabled applicants The elderly/disabled program houses only one bedroom and efficiency units. The average wait time once on the waiting list varies from 6 months - 4 year.
