Good morning Brian,

I am glad to hear that you would like to participate. This is wonderful.
Yes, that would be great if you extended the invitation to the members of
the Alexandria Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind. We are
looking to test our sheltering capabilities and anyone who wants to
participate are more than welcome.

All I ask is that they send me an email, so that I can get them in contact
with the person to register them for the exercise.

Thank you so much.

Dear Teresa,

One other question... May I extend this invitation to other groups? I also
happen to be the president of the Alexandria chapter of the National
Federation of the Blind, and I thought some of my chapter members may wish
to participate in this event.

Thank you,

Brian Miller

Good morning Brian.

I work with the Office of Emergency Management. The City is conducting a
sheltering exercise on May 7, 2018, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, at one of the
City's sheltering facilities. (Location will be determined by April 2).

I would like to extend an invitation to members of your commission to see if
any of them would like to participate in the exercise.

Would you mind forwarding this email to members of the Commission On Persons
With Disabilities to see if anyone would like to participate in the
exercise?

If anyone has any questions or interested in participating, they can send me
an email.

Thank you,

invite you or anyone else from the Commission on Persons with Disabilities
that would be interested in participating in this exercise. Right now we are
still in the planning phase, but once details are finalized, I would be more
than happy to share that with you and the members of the Commission on
Persons with Disabilities. Also, if you know of anyone that has a service
animal, we would also like to welcome them to participate in our exercise.
