Subject: end-of-summer kayaking next Sunday, September 1, plus pay 2019 dues by October 1
Hi all,

Hope you’ve all been enjoying your summers and surviving the extreme heat. To celebrate the end of summer and hopefully some cooler weather ahead, we’re planning to have a second kayaking day next Sunday, September 1. The plan is to rent out five double kayaks and take turns with those not out kayaking hanging out at the picnic tables as we did when we had our first event in May. Feel free to come by anytime between 11 AM and 2 PM. If you’re interested in kayaking with us, please email me back at karla.gilbride at gmail.com<mailto:karla.gilbride at gmail.com> so I have a list of who to expect, and know who to contact if we have to change plans because of bad weather, etc.

Also, for the second year we will be charging dues of $25 to all active members of the Metro Washington Association of Blind Athletes (meaning anyone who has attended at least three activities in 2019). If you haven’t already paid your dues for 2019, please send $25 via Venmo to mwabadc or via PayPal to treasurer at gomwaba.org<mailto:treasurer at gomwaba.org>. if you have trouble paying via either of these methods, please contact Justin at justinbchan at gmail.com<mailto:justinbchan at gmail.com>. All payments are due by October 1.
