City of Alexandria Seeks Feedback on Dockless Mobility Pilot Program

The City of Alexandria is seeking feedback<https://www.research.net/r/AlexandriaVA-DocklessUsage> on its Dockless Mobility Pilot Program.

Dockless mobility devices include shared, rechargeable transportation devices, such as e-bikes and e-scooters, that are available for rent from private companies. The City launched a pilot to demonstrate the dockless devices in January.

The pilot program was designed to evaluate the safety and popularity of dockless mobility devices and the overall performance of the participating companies. City staff will continue to monitor how and where the devices are used, company responsiveness, and safety, as well as collect community input, for the duration of the pilot.

The feedback form will be open through Friday, September 6. City staff will prepare an evaluation report and a set of recommendations for consideration by City Council this fall, which will incorporate public feedback.
