[Nfbv-announce] NFB of Virginia State Convention Bus from Northern Virginia

Hello Northern Virginia  Federationists and Friends,

 

The Potomac Chapter is organizing a bus for travel to Richmond open to
anyone who wants to attend. You need not be a chapter member to take
advantage of the bus we have arranged for the NFB of Virginia's State
Convention in Richmond.

Special PCNFB reserved coach to Richmond roundtrip for 2012 NFBV state
convention.

Deadline to reserve: Friday, October 19, 2012.

Departs Arlington, Thursday, November 1 at 2:00 PM

Return Trip  on Sunday departs Richmond Hotel , November 4 at 1:00 Pm

 

The Virginia Affiliate of the National Federation of the Blind's State
Convention is fast approaching. This year's convention will be held on the
weekend of Friday, November 2 through Sunday, November 4 in Richmond. As
such, the Potomac Chapter based out of Arlington in Northern Virginia will
be providing convenient motorcoach transportation from the meeting site of
the Potomac Chapter located at: Saint George's Episcopal Church, 915 North
Oakland Street in Central Arlington, Virginia. This will be a door-to-door
transport between the church and the convention hotel. The motorcoach will
be departing promptly at 2pm from the parking lot of Saint George's on the
afternoon of Thursday, November 1 in route to Richmond and leaving the hotel
at 1pm on Sunday, November 4 to return to the church. The cost for roundtrip
transportation will be $50, whereas for those who may only require one-way
accommadations the cost will be $30. The deadline to RSVP your interest will
be Friday, October 19th. You may RSVP to Transportation Coordinator, Mr.

payments can be made in cash or by check made payable to PCNFB. Payments
will be accepted via the chapter treasurer, Mr. Sean Whalen in advance, sent
to his home address of: 320 23rd Street South, Apt. 826, Arlington, Virginia
22202 or at the chapter meeting scheduled for Thursday, October 11. Payments
will also be accepted at the bus. If you have business to attend to prior to
departure, please arrive early as the motorcoach will be departing on-time.
