[Nfbv-announce] Paddle with the Blind!!!

On behalf of Jessica Reed, the President of the Fredericksburg Area Chapter
of the NFB, we announce:

The 2nd annual Paddle with the Blind will be held on Saturday June 15, 2013
at 10 AM at Motts Run Reservoir.  The Virginia Outdoor Center will provide
boats, paddles and life jackets.  Information about the Reservoir appears
below.

 

Please let us know no later than Monday June 10 that you will join us!

Motts Run Reservoir is at  6600 River Road.  This 860-acre natural area
including the 160-acre reservoir, is a haven for fishing, boating canoeing,
hiking and picnicking. It also serves the residents of Fredericksburg and
parts of Spotsylvania County with drinking water. No swimming, horseback
riding, biking of any kind, or all-terrain vehicles permitted.  If the
weather is questionable, call before coming (540) 786-8989. When the weather
is bad we reserve the right to close the reservoir early.
