[Nfbv-announce] Fwd: Support the Student Division at the State Board Meeting

Good Evening Federationists



I hope all is well and that your New Year is off to a refreshing start. As
our affiliate gears up for Richmond seminar next week, I want to share a
treat with all of the members that will be attending the state board
meeting. The Virginia Association of Blind Students will be busy at work
again assuring that our affiliate members have an opportunity to have
refreshments during our state board meeting. With such important topics and
plans being discussed, it is only right that people have a chance to wet
their whistle or quell a craving during the meeting.



In the entrance hall of the building the meeting is being held, the board
members of the student division will be selling ice cold beverages and
snack bags for any affiliate member or visitor that is in need of a drink
or snack. As the meeting begins at 1pm, the student division will be set up
at 12:30pm in order to allow members to purchase their items before they
enter the conference room. The items for sale are:



1.       Cans of Coke and Sprite: $1

2.       Bottled Water: $1

3.       Snack bags (consisting of a piece of fruit, nuts, and potato
chips): $2

Please remember that these items will probably go quickly, so look out for
the students’ station in order to purchase your refreshment. Remember, the
state board meeting will take place on Monday, January 16, 2017 in the
Library Resource Center and the Virginia Department of the Blind and Vision
Impaired. We look forward to connecting with you all in Richmond and thank
you in advance for any support.
