Hello,

Before anything else, please forgive the high traffic on this list. It's
state convention season, and your poor inboxes are going to get slammed with
a few more messages than usual. I promise it's only in an effort to make the
weekend as awesome of an experience as possible.

As you read in Tracy's highlights last month, I'm going to be leading a
financial education seminar on Friday afternoon of the convention. Before I
finalize that agenda, I want to make sure I'm picking the collective brain
of the people in our affiliate who absolutely love all things financial
literacy. I'm not talking about the people who really want to start
budgeting and saving and just haven't gotten there yet. I'm talking about
the people who are already walking the walk and have the savvy to show it.
I'm looking for people who eagerly follow financial blogs and podcasts;
people who know the ins and outs about balancing credit cards and retirement
investments; people who appreciate and have already gotten well on their way
to establishing emergency funds; people who recognize their financial
weaknesses and know how to pursue intelligent shopping strategies; and most
important, people who can help explain some of these nuances in plain
language we can all appreciate. I don't want vague hypothetical examples or
dumb rhetoric about how if you set your mind to it, you really can become
wealthy. I'm all about tangible pointers people could reasonably start
exercising today, right now, which is why you'll be glad to know Mark Roane
and Sharon Soforenko will be a part of this powerful lineup.

Do you have what I need to put on one heck of an informative seminar? If so,
reply to this message. Let's talk about how you can lend a hand, and I'm not
just talking about the convention. If you've got that financial fire already
burning in your belly, we just might be able to do something about launching
some sort of a financial literacy initiative in the affiliate to help us all
get that much closer to financial independence.

To your success,

Joe Orozco
