Hello everyone,



We are excited to announce the virtual 2020 VRCBVI Family and Friends Day
event which will take place on Saturday, October 17.  The flyer is below
and attached.  We are targeting pre-ETS students, their families and TVI’s
for this event.  Please share with anyone who you know who would benefit
from participation.  We are very excited about this opportunity.

or a teacher of a blind or vision impaired student, then this event is for
you!*



*When:       Saturday, October 17, 2020, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM*

*Where:      Virtually, via Zoom meeting. So wherever you like!*



-       Learn how the skills of blindness change everything

-       Learn how the LIFE Program empowers kids to take action

-       Build your “brag sheet”

-       Learn the “Soft Skills” of Socialization

-       Discuss how to navigate challenges with confidence



*And that’s not all!*



*We will also have breakout groups for teens, adults and parents of blind
children to eat lunch together and chat virtually.*
