[NFBV-Announce] Senator Kaine Supports S212 the Access Technology Affordability Act

Hi Virginia Federationists,

 

We are pleased to share that Senator Tim Kaine has signed on to support S212
the Access Technology Affordability Act (ATAA)  as of today. Your advocacy
in email led to a successful meeting with his staff last week and he agreed
to join Senator Warner in supporting this legislation. We now have both
Virginia US Senators supporting this legislation and a total of 29 Senate
supporters. Thank you for your great work in advocating for a refundable tax
credit which enables blind people to purchase the access technology we need
for employment and other components of our increasingly digital world.
