For the next 10 days, we will highlight an important aspect of the
convention. At the end of this message, we will provide details on
registering. We need you at our 2021 NFB of Virginia convention.

Have you ever found the concepts of money, budgeting, credit cards, and
finances to be overwhelming? Well, you're not alone.

*	Over 53% of adults say thinking about their financial situation
makes them anxious
*	two-thirds of American families would struggle to come up with the
equivalent of six weeks' savings
*	78% of adults live paycheck to paycheck
*	Three in five adults don't keep a budget
*	Four in five youth failed a financial literacy quiz
*	60% of adults had credit card debt in the past year

Come join us on Saturday, October 30th from 12:30 to 3 PM as we break down
some financial concepts into relatable, manageable, and simplistic
objectives you can incorporate into your daily routine!

. Participants of all ages and experience levels will learn new tricks by
taking part in an index card activity, while other sessions will spotlight
credit cards, prioritizing wants versus needs, and the essentials for
managing an effective budget.

Finally, what better way to put your knowledge to test than by dropping you
into an interactive scenario? The circumstances are real enough. The
consequences are not. It'll be the perfect way for you to practice your
skills with the guidance of financially savvy role models.

You don't have to feel behind financially. Check us out, and regardless of
your experience level, you might just learn a few new tricks you can use to
get ahead!

This is just a small subset of the valuable programming to be included in
sessions run between Sunday October 24 and Sunday, October 31.

The National Federation of the Blind of Virginia convention combines
excellent networking with positive blind role models, fellowship with old
and new friends across the Commonwealth, and some of the best presentations
on topics important to the blind of Virginia

Don't wait, register today. Registration for our virtual convention is free
and will only take a few minutes. By registering, you will be informed of
convention events, will be eligible for door prizes, and will make you
eligible for our registration drawing if completed by October 18.
