[NFBV-Announce] Day 5 Says the Voices in My Head Have Spoken!

Oh my goodness, it's only Day 5! This means you have at least four
more emails trying to convince you the Virginia convention really is
the best thing since stuffed crust pizza.

Is it though?

Are you going to tune in to one of our sessions and be so thoroughly
wowed that you want to slap your mama for not making you attend a
convention sooner?

Keep up this barrage of emails, and surely you'll want to slap
somebody for not making them stop!

So, I'll give it to you straight: If you attend convention and think
to yourself: That is time I will never get back, I'll refund your
money. What money? Registration's free! Oh, that's right, so really,
what do you have to lose?

Tracy, Jacki and I have created this little competition to see who can
come up with the best convention pitch. I consulted with my three best
and quite possibly only friends: me, myself, and I, and we determined
this season I am leading by a mile. Why? Because I know your time is
valuable; because you don't like mediocrity; and because if given a
choice between dressing up and showing up for a meeting you may or may
not like or sitting at home in your pajamas with a drink, you'd
probably choose the pajamas. Except, wowzers! This year you really can
have your cake and eat it too! Because convention is virtual and just
like cable television, you can look at the schedule, pick what you
like and skip past those things that don't tickle your curiosity and
do so from the comfort of your own couch with the benefit of your
favorite beverage.

So, just in case your Attention deficit disorder flared up, let's recap:

1. You, could, find the convention to be boring.

2. You, could, decide convention is not worth your zero investment.

3. You, could, delete this email and stubbornly choose not to register.

But, here's the kicker: What if you didn't? What if, by showing up,
you discovered, much to your surprise, that you actually had a great
time, learned a great deal, and did so in the company of great new
friends? Anything's possible my friend. You won't figure it out for
yourself if you don't give it, and us, a shot:

Best,

Joe
