[NFBV-Announce] The countdown continues...Day 3

Hey NFB Family and Friends,

 

The Virginia State Convention is almost here (Sunday, October 24th through
Sunday, October 31st). You've looked at the agenda and are planning to
attend everything (because you can) from the Rookie Roundup and the
Diversity, Equity  and Inclusion Meeting (featuring National Committee
Member and our National Representative, Denise Avant)  to  the VDBI and
Blind Parents Meetings.  You will be getting tips and tricks regarding your
finances (Big Money Made Easy Seminar) and you're psyched about the new
Silver Bells Program (I  know, you can't wait to get the information for
yourself or your Senior friends and relatives).  The week is winding down
and after all of the things you've attended, you may think, what can Tracy
have in store for us that could possibly top this week? The answer is, wait
for it, OCTOBERFEST!  You can pop in and out of the three different zoom
rooms each with multiple breakouts ranging from games to deep philosophical
discussions.  Oh yeah, there's speed dining, on Saturday  (you're moved into
a  new breakout with new friends every 15 minutes) and the Banquet.don't
forget about the Banquet!  Whew! What a  week it is going to be!
