Our annual State Convention is just around the corner, and with it all the
excitement and fun activities that traditionally accompany it, including our
statewide Action Auction! No, we aren't meeting in person, and sadly we will
hear a little less from our enthusiastic auctioneers urging us to dig deep;
nevertheless, we can still participate in a highly energetic fund raiser. 

 

Introducing 32auction.com. Here our hard-working auction committee has
organized an online auction table displaying beautiful items to bid for; and
it could not be easier to access. Below you will find the link to our
Virginia Affiliate's auction page on the 32 Auctions site, and instructions
for placing your bid on the item of your choice. But first, why?

 

The 2021 State Convention Auction will benefit our Silver Bells program to
provide valuable training and resources to blind and low vision seniors from
across the Commonwealth. Your contribution to the auction will go directly
to fund this great program. 

 

So far there are 12 items waiting to find homes, all ranging from delicious
treats like Chocolates from the Tidewater Chapter, desserts from the
Winchester Chapter; Custom Glasses  from the Peninsula Chapter, beautiful
handmade knit shawls from Sandy Halverson, and a dinner for 6 by Sharon
Soforenko. Dig deep and read on to learn how to participate in this year's
ACTION AUCTION!

This will lead you straight to our Affiliate's landing page. Once there,
click the Log In button to log into your account if you already have one. If
not, there is a link from the log in page to create a new account.

Provide your First and Last name as well as your e-mail address to create an
account. Once you have confirmed your information, you will be free to bid
on any item that strikes your fancy. Choose your item and scroll down to the
button that says, "Place My Bid". You will see what the next bid up for the
item is, and you will see a text field asking for your bid amount. You can
enter the next bid up or even higher. Once done, hit the button that says
"Place My Bid" then when prompted hit confirm. And that's it. So please,
join our auction and help us meet our goal of 6,000 dollars. 

Can we make it? Absolutely!
