Hello everyone,

I wanted to give you the latest update regarding Jim. He was moved from
Winchester Medical to Bridge Point rehabilitation hospital in Washington DC
on Friday, February 10 around 10 PM in the evening.

I went to go see him on Saturday with his sister and brother-in-law to make
sure everything was Going good and that he got there safely.

Things are proceeding ahead with his therapy and it looks like they're
working on many different things and I have been in contact with the case
manager and many people there at the facility.

It was really tough for me not to be able to go every day since he is now 60
miles away and it's about an hour and a half drive.

I am just glad that Jim is on the road to getting better and each day  of
being able to come home.

I look forward to seeing you all this Saturday at the meeting. Take care for
now.

Sounding the alarm!

Calling all  ladies!

All the  ladies! All the  ladies! All the  ladies! From near and far.

Come join the ladies of the Virginia affiliate for the Valentine's addition
of ladies night  7-9 PM. 

The theme for the month of February is Love.      The topic for Saturday,
February  18th is(Me Myself and I)

Who is that?

Spread the news and bring your girl friends', your favorite beverage and
snack and snuggle in your most comfy chair or wrap yourself in your soft and
fluffy blankets and let's chat as we discover the gems we are.         

Oh? Did I forget to mention that there may be a door prize or 2?

Our February 2023 meeting will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 7  pm over
the Affiliate's Zoom. Please come with any ideas or issues, big or small,
you would like our division to deal with. Even if you can't think of
anything offhand, come anyway, because you will probably leave the call with
something to think about after listening to others! Also, we will want to
celebrate our upcoming Silver Bells Retreat, the first one this year, being
held in Virginia Beach, starting the next day! I look forward to being with
all of you on Wednesday!
