Hey NFB Family and Friends,

Happy Memorial Day weekend! A moment of silence in memory of all of the
brave men and women who lost their lives serving and fighting for our rights
and freedom. Thank you. Hats off to all of the current service men and
women, we thank you.

On behalf of the DEI Committee, I thank all who participated in our event on
Wednesday night, AMAZING KICK ASS WOMEN: BLIND PARENTING WITH SPICE!  It was
a night filled with a touch of sassy talk, deep discussion and lots of
sharing and learning!  

I send out a special 'thank you" to our Spicy Mamas, Lakisha Holmes (TX),
Denna Lambert (MD), Lisamaria Martinez (CA) and Terri Rupp (NV).  These
spicy mamas put it all on the line and answered every question with dignity
and truth and grace!  I appreciate your stories about the challenges and
joys of raising your children!  Each one of you made our night
extraordinary!
