We recognize that the recreation building where we are holding our NFBV Board of Directors meeting on the DBVI campus is perhaps new to some of you.

Please note that we did not arrange lunch purchase options on the DBVI campus so I recommend finding lunch elsewhere or packing a lunch. I am bringing a Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwich for myself and recommend you figure out your own plan.

I asked Domonique Lawless, and O&M instructor by training, to provide us directions should someone be going to the AA building at 401 Azalea Avenue and seeking the Recreation Building.
Domonique provides very detailed directions below:

As far as getting to the rec building, if you are getting dropped off at the bus stop in front of the AA building, please continue to walk forward. You should hear the sound of Azalea Avenue traffic behind you and the sound of the fountain should be on the left.

If you shoreline the right side of the sidewalk, you will feel an opening to another sidewalk. Turn right. Walk down that sidewalk left parentheses about a buildings length) until your cane finds grass in front of you.

Put that grass on your left side and look for an opening to the left. It should be shortly after you originally find the grass with your cane. Turn left and then turn left onto the next sidewalk.

Shoreline the right side of the sidewalk and you will find an opening with the lion statue. That is the entrance to the rec building that will be unlocked at noon.

Alternatively, you may have your driver drop you off at the side entrance to the recreation building. As you are turning into the parking lot of the center, if you go past the bus stop as if you are heading to the dumpster, you will turn left and pull up at an all brick building with a double door. That door will be locked, but Domonique will try and get a volunteer to Standby.
