Hello everyone,
Remember, we're still collecting suggestions for presentations at this
year's state convention. If you went to the national convention and heard a
presentation during general session you felt would do well for our state, or
if you interacted with a vendor in the exhibit hall you felt would put on a
great demonstration, please forward the link below.
Similarly, if you, or someone you know, would like to bring a breakout
session to the convention, the link below is where we want to collect all
the details.
We're never going to get it just right. We'll either have too much
programming, or not enough, but if you choose not to share your ideas, we
won't be able to benefit from your suggestions that could make this year's
convention on the river one of your top highlights for 2024!
Also, when you think of this form, don't limit yourselves to day-time
professional programming. Maybe we should borrow from the Performing Arts
Division and hold our own talent show. Mark Roane, slightly tipsy, singing
Feel Like a Woman. Need I say more? I miss the old days when NABS used to
host Monti Carlo Night. If we ever did something like it, wouldn't you want
to sit next to Jacki Brown? Doesn't she give you the vibes that she's great
at racking up chips the way she racks up dollars at our auctions? Also,
listen, you've never played Family Fude until you've had Mary Durbin at the
helm. Between her and Chimere Roberts, well, you'll learn more about each
other than those silly little ice breakers. Amir Rahimi is a funny dude. I'm
thinking dinner, show, laughs, success! And I've long since felt we should
host a Love and Marriage style show like they do on cruises. Can you imagine
Gary Grassman smacking Christine for talking about the first time they ...
wowzers! this is a family list! But, you get the idea.
Here's the link, and yes, it's the correct link!

Convention, your way!
