Greater Alexandria Chapter Presents.Night at the Improv!  

 

You can always count on the Greater Alexandria Chapter to dish it up nice,
and our August meeting will certainly not disappoint!  The introductory
flavor of the evening will be a word from our Delegate to Virginia's 16th
District, and friend and Champion to the Greater Alexandria Chapter, Paul
Krizek! Our second course will be a tossed salad of important info about a
new publication on first aid you won't want to miss; the shared experience
of two First-Timers at the NFB National Convention; and a teaser regarding
our NFBV State Convention that will certainly wet your whistle! And our main
course will be an experience you will need all your important senses to
fully enjoy-your sense of FUN and LAUGHTER, with a hint of COURAGE to get
involved!  It is our version of Night at the Improv, and it will be a full
contact sport!  So, gather up your quick wit, sassy lingo, and your favorite
drink and snack, and come ready to play!  

 

This event will be on our Affiliate's Zoom. On Thursday, August 28th from 7
thru 9 PM

 

Bring your enthusiasm and  be prepared to have fun!.

PM on our Affiliate Zoom for the Your journey through blindness call.

 

Are you losing your sight or have you been blind since  birth? Are you
caught in the middle, just enough sight  for some things but not enough
sight for other things? Do you want to learn how to do something non
visually or do you have a non visual tip to share? Do you need a resource or
recommendation? Do you ever want to chat with someone going thru the same or
similar situations? If you answered yes to any of these questions or you
just want to chat with your NFB friends, this call is for you! 

 

Each call will have an open discussion as well as a micro learning
experience, many of these were suggested by members, just like you!

 

Our friendly, caring and knowledgeable leaders will be there for each and
every call. This is an opportunity you don't want to miss; make new friends,
learn a new skill, teach a skill or kick back and relax; however you choose
to participate, you'll get something from every call!
