[NFBV-Announce] Who Will You Meet at the NFB of Virginia Convention?

What brings people back to an NFB of Virginia convention year after year?

The sessions matter. The information matters. But often, it’s the people.

Maybe you’re looking for a better way to handle something at work.
Maybe you’re figuring out college, technology, transportation,
parenting, or how to stay independent after a change in your vision.
Maybe you simply haven’t spent much time around other blind people who
are living the kind of life you want for yourself.

Somewhere among the blind people gathering in Herndon this October may
be someone who has already faced the question you’re asking now.

That is what makes our state convention different. From October 22–25,
blind Virginians of different ages, backgrounds, careers, and
experiences will come together to learn from one another, build
relationships, exchange ideas, and raise our expectations for what is
possible.

If you’ve been coming to convention for years, we want you there.

If you haven’t been in a while, come back.

And if you’ve never attended an NFB of Virginia convention before,
this may be the year to find out what you’ve been missing.

The 2026 NFB of Virginia State Convention will be held October 22–25
at the Crowne Plaza Dulles Airport in Herndon. Our convention hotel
rate is $125 per night, and the deadline to reserve your room at the
convention rate is September 29.

One more challenge: don’t just register yourself. Think of one blind
person who should be in Herndon with us and personally invite them. A
call, text, or email from you may mean more than any convention
announcement we can send.
