The Vienna Community Center may be under construction but the show goes on!  The Vienna Theatre Company's spring production, In Living Sound, will take place at the Flame Room of the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department (VVFD) for 4 performances only:  March 31, April 1, 7 & 8.  We are happily teaming up with the VVFD Auxiliary to present an evening of food, fun and theatre. These radio play re-creations feature live sound effects - just as it was done in the original broadcasts!

 The Fire Department Auxiliary will be serving up delicious food items and VTC will provide radio shows from the 1930's, 40's and 50's.

Candy Matson - Yukon 2-8209 - The Black Cat (1950)
Candy is a San Francisco private detective. She's feisty, sassy and gets the job done.

Buck Rogers in the 25th Century - The Original Show (1939)
Buck is the willing guinea pig to test Dr. Huer's Electro-Hypno-Mentalphone that makes the memories of the subject come through verbally. What will he reveal to Dr. Huer and Buck's side kick, Wilma?

Short Short Story - Success Story (1940)
A little more dramatic than the others, Success Story, gives listeners a little insight into the behind-the-scenes world of professional theatre in New York City. The ending is bittersweet but, "successful."


My Favorite Husband - Spring Cleaning (1950)
This series starred Lucille Ball as Liz. Liz causes as many problems in George's (her favorite husband) life as Lucy does later for Desi in the classic TV show, I Love Lucy.

Cast: Chuck Dluhy, Nancy Lyons, Steve Palkovitz, Janet Stein, Jay Stein, Jocelyn Steiner

Tickets  Fridays: tickets $14; hot food and drinks will be available for purchase Saturday tickets: $25; includes the show and dinner
Doors open at 7:15pm for dinner. Shows begin at 8pm

The Vienna Theatre Company is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) organization.
