Fairfax Chapter of the NFB July 20 Meeting Announcement

Hi Everyone,

Come to the July 20 meeting of the Fairfax Chapter of the NFB for an evening of fun and Icy Goodness!  Help us with our community outreach event, share information about blindness and available resources, while having fun and indulging in tasty frozen desserts.

Where: Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard of Fairfax, 10726 Fairfax Blvd, Fairfax, VA 22030
When: Thursday, July 20, 2017 anytime between 6:00pm - 9:30pm

If you have a low vision or blind accessible game that you enjoy playing, please bring it. There are many in the community who would love to learn about it.  Rita's is known as a friendly and happening place, so you never know who might sit down with you to play.
How it works:
Spread the word. Tell or email your friends, family, coworkers, people from your church, or just people you meet on the bus or train about this delicious event that will help to fund all our chapters activities like Braille learning, low vision movie nights for teens, Salsa dancing classes, rock climbing, and many more.

Tell them all to come to Rita's on the evening of July 20 and to order one of their delicious desserts. And, tell them to mention "NFB' when they order so that Rita's can help us to fund our activities. You must tell everyone to be there. And, you must be there too to enjoy the evening with new friends.

There is a Papa John's (might be take out only) and Peking Village II (eat-in) across the parking lot from Rita, to the left and very close to the road.  Difficult to walk to as it is all parking lot between Rita's and these shops.
