The Potomac, Alexandria, and Fairfax chapters of the National Federation of
the Blind of Virginia will be hosting a joint BEAM event on October 9,
starting at 10:00 AM at the Alexandria Waterfront.  

We will be sharing an FAQ, several brochures, and Braille alphabet cards
with the public, as wlel as providing Brailled names and short messages,
reading Braille of the ambient noise permits, demonstrating assistive
technology and mobility techniques, and inviting the participation of local
officials.
