*Discover the World of Braille!*

*A Hands-On Adventure for Kids and Families*

*When:* Saturday, October 4, *1:30 PM TO 3:00 PM (setup starts at 12:30 PM)*

*Where:*  Skyline House *EAST* Party Room

*Who: * Children ages 5–10 and their families (but all are welcome, of any
age)
 Come join the Fairfax Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of
Virginia for a fun, interactive program where kids will:
 ✨ *Explore Braille* – Learn how blind people read with their fingertips.

✨ *Experience* *Life Differently* – Try out everyday techniques blind
people use at home, school, and work.
✨ *Ask Anything!* – Kids (and parents) can ask questions and receive honest
answers.
✨ *Storytime with a Twist* – Enjoy children’s books in both print and
Braille.

*This is more than just a learning activity—it is a chance for children to
grow in curiosity, compassion, and confidence as they discover how people
who are blind live full and active lives.*

Parents will enjoy seeing their children’s imaginations light up while
gaining insight into how inclusion and accessibility benefit everyone.
