[Nfbv-historic-fredericksburg] Very Important Monthly Meeting Information

I am sending this communication much later than usual to try to insure the information is as accurate and up to date as possible.  This month, because of room availability in the library, our meeting is the second rather than the third Saturday.  We will be meeting at 10:00, October 8, in the library's theater room.  This is a much larger room than we normally have the opportunity to use.  I was extremely pleased to get this room because of several very special guests who will attend our meeting.  Tracy Soforenco, first vice president of our Virginia affiliate, will lead us in an NFB philosophy discussion.  Accompanying him will be a driver and two members of our brand new Virginia Leadership Fellows class.

In celebration of Meet the Blind Month, another special guest has been invited.  Richard Peck, one of our Randolph Shepherd vendors, is well known for performing comedy routines.  If he is available, he will present our chapter with an exclusive 10 minute preview of a larger performance planned for our convention next month.  Everyone is most welcome, cordially invited and strongly encouraged to join us.  Let's fill that theater room to capacity!  The library's address is 1201 Caroline Street, in downtown Fredericksburg at the intersection of Caroline and Lewis.
