Meeting called to order September 17, 2016
14 members present
15th anniversary of Historic Fredericksburg Chapter of NFB

Lori Wages and Michael Kasey shared a little of the history of the chapter
Lori recounted how Sandy Halverson gave Hannah Wages her first cane at her first convention
Michael Kasey and Mark Roane started the chapter
Michael recognized the leadership present at the table -
 - Judy past President of Prince William County Chapter
 - Lori - President of Parent's division
 - Kim - President of Student Division
 - Holly - former DC President
The chapter was born 8 days following the tragedies of Septemver 11, 2001 by 25 people
by the second year the walk-a-thon raised $15,000
It is important to keep legislative relationships
Dinner was enjoyed by all!
