Please make every possible effort to attend this month's chapter meeting. It will be Saturday, January 20, at 10:00 in meeting room two of the Central Rappahannock Regional Library, 1201 Caroline Street. We must have a quorum to conduct elections which are already a month over dues. If elected, I will be honored to continue in that position. We need a nominee to be vice president. That nomination can come from the floor. Our constitution requires the president and vice president to be blind. If nominated and elected, Leon Anderson is willing to continue as treasurer for another year. Traci Jones, our current vice president, if elected, has agreed to return to her former position as secretary. Jessica Reed already serves on our board and is willing, if elected, to continue in this position. The other board position needs someone because Mark Ross joined the new Prince William Chapter, which is much closer to where he lives. That chapter elected Mark as its treasurer. On behalf of the Historic Fredericksburg Chapter, I extend greetings to this most recent Prince William chapter and wish it the best possible success.
All currently paid up members can, and are urged to, vote.
