dear members of the historic Fredericksburg area chapter,

I hope this email finds all of you well. There are a few very important points that need to be made before this months meeting.

first, we will be meeting in room three on the third floor of the Central Rappahannock regional library, located at 1201 Caroline St. in downtown Fredericksburg. The meeting will be held on September 21 from 10 AM to 12 PM and will be conducted by myself, Britney Ingram, Vice president.

Second, we will be having a guest speaker, Babak Zarin, The new resource library in. We are not only excited to introduce him to the chapter, but also, hear about any new resources from the library and exciting opportunities the chapter may have in partnering up with the library and giving back to our community.

third, this meeting is going to be extremely important. After we talk with our new librarian, we will be having a serious discussion on the chapter itself. due to poor attendance the last two years in December, we have decided to move elections from December to October. there are going to be new changes not only within the presidency, but with the way the chapter is being run as a whole. please come with concerns, questions, and ideas you wish to bring to the chapters attention. it is our strong desire that this open conversation be the launch pad for the Fredericksburg chapter to rise up and start serving you. however, the chapter cannot start to grow or change without you. we need each of our members to make a firm commitment to attend our September and October meetings to start the discussion, start reaching out, and start listening and acting upon what each person has to say.

in addition, Holly has a door prize that was an able to be given away at the walkathon. We will be putting the names of all attending members in a free drying at the end of the meeting. Everyone will have an equal opportunity to earn a free one night stay for two at the courtyard by Marriott Fredericksburg historic sector located at 620 Caroline Street. You will stay in a standard room and services include free Wi-Fi connection, free breakfast, a swimming pool, a spa, and much more. How much of the services included with the gift certificate are unsure, but the offer is available until march 20, 2020.

once again, we need all of you to attend this meeting. Please come and help the Fredericksburg chapter be as great as I know it can be. Thank you for all your support.

 sincerely,

 Britney Ingram
