Hello all,

Here is some information I just received on a fund that helps out with
assistive technology/equipment needs in the Northern Virginia areas of
Arlington County, Fairfax county, Prince William County, Stafford County,
Loudon County, Fauquier countyand the city of Alexandria as well as the
District of Columbia. Applicants can be ages 0-65, Just thought I would
share!

The ERIC Fund

The ERIC Fund was founded in memory of Eric Savader, a disability rights
proponent. Eric believed strongly that individuals with disabilities,
regardless of the severity of their disability, could and should lead
independent lives in the community.

The ERIC Fund was founded to help provide assistive technology, devices and
equipment for individuals with disabilities to help them live, work, go to
school and participate actively in community life.

This year The Eric Fund is proud to offer up to $10,000 in grant awards.
These grants will assist persons with disabilities living in the Washington,
DC area down to Stafford County who demonstrate a need for assistive
technology or equipment in purchasing such devices or equipment to help them
lead independent, inclusive lives

.
Application deadline: Tuesday, April 5, 2016. Award winners will be notified
by August 31, 2016. For further information, link to
