Subject: Saint George's Rental Fee Increase and Terms

 

Dear John,

 

Saint George's has adopted a new rental policy for non-church groups using
Church facilities.

  Tracy, as Saint George's Space Rental Coordinator, has asked me to send
you this unofficial email.  If the Chapter agrees to the new terms. You, as
Chapter President, will receive an official notification and contract.

 

In the past, groups, including PCNFB, were not required to sign contracts or
pay a rental deposit .  A new Church policy will require all groups to sign
a contract and pay a refundable $300 deposit.  The deposit will be returned
when the group leaves Saint George's, assuming that the group has not caused
any damage.

 

The Potomac Chapter has been paying an annual rental fee of $250.  This fee
will increase in the amount of $10 per month, beginning in May, 2017.

 

If we use Saint George's for the 2016 BELL program, Saint George's will not
charge us the full space rental fee.   Rector Shearon Williams, has asked us
to determine the amount we are able to pay for this program.
