Hi fellow Virginia Federationists,As those of you that attended our January board meeting know, and to those of you that were not there, I have been entrusted with taking on the position of chairing the affiliate fundraising committee. So I am looking for a few good Federationist to be part of this dynamic committee. We have the task of coming up with the ideas that will help fund the vision and the goals of our affiliate going forward. First and foremost we have to make decisions on what items we will have on our Virginia table at the National Convention in Las Vegas this Summer. Virginia peanuts are a given. It would not be the Virginia Table without peanuts. But we need to discuss other possible items and have ideas to present at the upcoming May board meeting.
