All right, my lovelies: it is that time when, in preparation for — at last — our in person state convention, the Potomac Chapter must provide the support our affiliate requires in order to make this convention a phenomenal celebration of coming together again, of informative, entertaining, and dynamic programming, and a warm and inviting space.
One of you has reached out of her own accord and asked how she can be of assistance, and it is deeply appreciated. Who is next?
We need a door prize coordinator. We need a communications coordinator. We need someone to arrange for Braille and large print restaurant menus at the hotel. We will need other tasks completed, assigned, and shared as the convention draws ever closer, and it will do so faster than you think.
It would be truly a wonderful thing if by our next meeting on September 8, I have a list of individuals who have agreed to take responsibility for the significant items which must be addressed. Email or call me. Reach out to another person or two and put together a team, and let me know what you want to tackle. If you do not reach out to me, I am coming after you, because I know that each and every one of you has talents, strengths, and energy that this convention needs.
I would love to hear from you no later than this Thursday, August 18. Yes, that is only a few days away, but we need to get moving.
So . . . what would you like to coordinate? With whom will you be working?
A quick note: Hospitality Night is being coordinated by our awesome sibling chapter in Alexandria, which means it is going to be absolutely sensational.

OK, . . . . I’m waiting . . .

Christine
