Greetings Friends and Colleagues,

As you know, the Potomac Chapter is holding an exciting wine tasting on Saturday October 7. The details are below.

We want to see all of you there, however, you can leverage your ability to help us raise funds by taking a little time to invite your family, friends, neighbors, and or coworkers to join us. If you are unable to attend, your contributions of any size are most welcome.

Alone your one admission helps us, but when you are able to encourage others to participate, you help us raise more funds at no cost to you.

Below is an information document about the tasting. Just copy everything below this paragraph and send it to your friends and family. Of course a follow-up phone call will help. You may wish to place your name at the end of this invitation. If you are a member of our Potomac Chapter you should indicate that by placing, "member Potomac Chapter" on the line below your name.

Hi Friends,

I want to invite you to join us for a Wine Tasting Event and Seminar to benefit the Potomac Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind. An exciting variety of wines will be offered along with accompaniments of cheeses and chocolate. Tim Morse, a certified sommelier and award-winning wine maker will be explaining the wines. Each wine will be presented in a relaxed lecture format with plenty of time to enjoy each wine, mingle, and socialize with friends. If you have always wanted to learn more about wine or just wanted to expand your horizons, this event will be a great time. The event will fund outreach programs for blind youth, seniors and working age adults. Please RSVP by Sunday, October 1, so we can provide a final count to the organizers (drop ins that day will not be accepted and seating is limited).
