[NFBV-Potomac-Announce] End of Summer Potomac Chapter Picnic

Friends, Colleagues and Guests,

At the August Potomac Chapter meeting we decided to hold an end of summer picnic.

The picnic is scheduled at the home of Sandy and John Halverson on Saturday September 19 from 3:00 until 7:00 PM. The Halverson home is located at 810 22nd Street South, Arlington Virginia. It is about a fifteen-minute walk from the Pentagon City Metro stop. I can give you easy walking directions if needed.

We plan to serve grilled hamburgers and hotdogs. Let me know if any of you want veggie burgers.

The cost is $10 per person or bring a dish to share. If you plan to bring some food, please let us know by September 16 so we can make sure we do not have 15 desserts or ten salads. A simple coordination of what to bring is helpful .

The chapter is providing the meat and buns. Sandy is making her delicious potato salad.

I will offer beer and wine as well as coke and diet coke.

  NFBV friends from other local chapters are encouraged to join us. This is a wonderful opportunity to mix and mingle and get to know each other better.
We need to know how much food to prepare. Please RSVP by September 16 if you plan to join us.
