From Tracy Soforenko, President
National Federation of the Blind of Virginia
Meeting of the Board of Directors
Saturday, May 7, 2022
Location: Library and Resource center, Virginia Department of the Blind and Vision Impaired
395 Azalea Avenue
Richmond, Virginia 23227
Agenda:
12:45 Pre-Registration via Zoom (if possible)
1:00 P.m. - 4:00 P.M.
The meeting will be conducted in person and over Zoom.
Mask Policy at DBVI Richmond Campus:
At the DBVI Forum early this week, Commissioner Hopkins announced that there are no longer any Covid-19 protocols per guidance from the Department of Labor and Industry. The only thing that DBVI asks is that if people are not feeling well, they need to stay home. If people want to wear masks, they are free to do so. If they don’t want to wear masks, they are free to do so.
We will establish a specific section of the room where masks are required so people who only want to sit with others wearing a mask feel more comfortable. Of course, individuals are also welcome to participate in the meeting via Zoom.
