Subject: [Wcb-l] Change in voters pamphlet
Hello everyone,
"I hope you all received a letter from the Washington secretary of
State reguarding the new changes in the voters pamphlet."
There are six accessible formats that you have to choose from, 1,
reading braille on-line 2, on-line with an mp3 player, 3 using your
screen reader to listen to it on-line, 4 the voters pamphlet in braille,
5 Audio recording on Compact disk, :CD, there is no recording of it on
cassette tape anymore. 6 Large print.
The letter says you have until wednesday, June 25th to respond, by
calling the Washington State Elections Division at 800-448-4883. Tell
them which format you want. "If you don't do this by Wednesday, you will
be remooved from the list of accessible format subscribers. The letter
came in braille and on CD.
The question is, suppose someone doesn't have a computer, Cd player
or can't read braille? What should they do?
from
Joan Ladeburg
