Description: Experienced, highly motivated Business Analyst with a minimum
of five years experience with software development projects from inception
through ongoing maintenance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
.Lead business requirements gathering, analysis and documentation of
workflows, processes and procedures.
.Interview business counterparts to effectively draw out and articulate the
business need/problem/ opportunity to be addressed. Provide scaled options
for implementation based on business need
.Gather & analyze requirements; create documentation to enable development
on proprietary applications, including use cases, user stories, and business

.Work with a Development shop using an Agile SDLC, with changing, sometimes
ambiguous documentation needs
.Communicate effectively - both verbally and written - to peers and business
partners to include strong questioning and listening skills and ability to

.Lead cross-functional teams

Qualifications and Requirements:
.Must be a strongly driven, self-starter with 4-5 years of experience in
analysis of software requirements
.Must have experience creating documentation for an Agile or iterative
development team
.Financial Services experience (broker, dealers, banks, etc) highly
desirable.
.Experience w/ Reporting, Business Intelligence, Market Data (finance)
projects; especially completion of a successful Reporting/BI project start
to finish
.Any experience w/ hosted, 3rd party, cloud-based platforms - nice to have
.Comfortable in a dynamic work environment with a high degree of ambiguity
.Bachelor's degree required
