TOVI Education Reform Committee

is proud and ecstatic to announce

that

we have received approval for

Washington State specialty endorsements for VI and OM Teachers!

Finally, VI and OM Teachers will be recognzied and valued for our unique
skills.

VI/B students will be better ensured to receive the qualified services
they deserve.

**

Committee members will run test trials to determine the exact process
for applying for these endorsements. Once the process is finalized,
information will be shared on TOVI.

The TOVI Education Reform Committee has also made great progress in
bringing university VI and OM teacher prep programs into Washington to
create more teachers in our state. Further announcements are expected
shortly.

>From Jamie Baggett: It has been my pleasure and honor to act as Chair of
the TOVI Education Reform Committee for the past three years. We could
not have accomplished what we did without the dedication and hard work
of many! Lynnda Biek of University Place will take over as our new
Chair. Lynnda's passion, dedication, expertise and professionalism will
provide the reform movement with an excellent leader. Specific questions
about the TOVI Education Reform Committee can be directed to Lynnda at
