[nfbwatlk] Another Successful Lighthouse Event

Last night was the second "guest bartender night" at the 50 North restaurant in the U district in Seattle. It was an unqualified success. Andrea Travis, and the other event coordinators from the Seattle Lighthouse did a fantastic job of organizing and carry off this event. Several of us participated by pouring and serving the specialty drink called the "braille blizzard". It was fun, and I think all who attended enjoyed themselves. Thanks to Cindy Bennett, Mike Mello, Tanna Shoyo and Jacob Struiksma from our NFB Seattle chapter for eating, drinking and generally carrying on throughout the evening. (If I missed someone, it's because I didn't know you were there.)  The Lighthouse foundation I'm sure appreciates all of the fund transfers, i.e. the money we spent, and the restaurant was *outstanding as well.  Gabriel the bartender this time was excellent, and patient at the same time. This was an excellent event. Looking forward to many more.
