[nfbwatlk] Braille Pen Pal Wanted

This afternoon, I received a telephone call from one Cassandra Eden who
lives in the Bremerton area. She was inquiring as to whether we (NFB of
Washington) had a formal Braille pen pals system. She is taking Braille from
Hadley and has mastered uncontracted Braille and is currently working on
numbers and currency. She is a young forty years old and quite enthusiastic.

 

I do not feel at liberty to release her telephone number on-list but told
her I'd put a note on this list and get her in touch with those who also
would like some Braille practice.

 

Perhaps we can get her involved with our "March of Dots" effort this fall.
