Hi,
I voted today. I just got out of the hospital so I used Oregon's option to have two officials come to my home to read and mark the ballot for me. This was interesting. I told them I thought it was time to have a cat for President.  I don't remember if we had the in-home option in WA or CA or not, but if so, I was unaware of it. 

Hospital-wise, I've been in and out of the crazy place the last few months. Saturday they took forever getting the paperwork done so I remarked to a couple can's that maybe this was the Hotel California. (in Oregon). I have wounds on my left leg that aren't healing. I've had tons of antibiotics. This time, I think the main wound might finally be getting smaller. It has been painful in a major way.  

Saturday I saw my daughter, Lynden, her husband, Tim, and my 3-month-old grandson, Julian. They brought me home from the hospital and stayed a while. That was neat. 

I am on a team working toward rejuvenating a Lane County NFB chapter, which would include Eugene. 

That's about all of my news for now.

Hello All,
Democracy Live has recently developed and released the Free "Live Ballot" App to ensure equal access to voter information. The App provides accessibility features for individuals who are blind or visually impaired to easily access the sample ballot prior to going to the Polls, which contains national, county and local level candidates seeking office, with extensions to their Biography, contact information and details regarding their platform. The current App has been developed  for the iPhone and iPad. The Android App will be forthcoming. Democracy Live is seeking input on recommendations for accessibility enhancements.
