Hello everyone, I wanted to take a moment to share this with all of you in Washington state. Below you will find the copy of the email that I sent to the deaf blind division serve. With the agenda and the zoom connection information. All are welcome. If anyone has questions or me specifically please don't hesitate to send me an email.

Hello everyone I am posting the final meeting agenda for Saturday. As well as the zoom information. Please note we are not using one tap mobile. If anyone has an extreme urgent issue with this please reach out to me via email ASAP. We have a packed agenda! So if you are coming please be on time.

Trap number two deaf blind division public meeting agenda.

 

5:45 PM Eastern time making connections, interpreters making sure that they can work with the people that have requested accommodations. Participant driving at the meeting, making sure that we can all hear each other.

 

6 PM Eastern standard Time, meeting begins.

 

Call to order.

Dola, Angela Will call the role of the board.

Introduction of guess.

Dola or Angela Will read the secretaries report.

Sara Coleman Will deliver the treasurers report short form.

President reminds everyone that this is the start of the 85th year of the National Federation of the Blind.

Opening remarks from our national president, mark A. Riccobono. Baltimore Maryland.

At approximately 620 p.m. Eastern time, Marc Safman Will deliver his comments on behalf the deaf blind leadership now Community group.

 

6:40 PM Justin Young from our legislative advocacy and policy department Will discuss the legislative effort around this issue.

 

We will have a few minutes for Q&A with Mr. Young, Mr. Chapman and President Riccobono.

Before Sara, Jonathan Mosen will briefly discuss the Access On podcast and the fact that transcripts are available and will take one question.

7 PM Sara Coleman Will deliver the full treasures and fundraising reports.

 

Q&A time.

 

At 7:30 p.m. We will cover any new business that hasn't been dealt with, a discussion of our next meeting, and we will adjourn promptly at 8 PM Eastern Standard time.

 Here are the start times by time zone. Again please keep in mind this is standard time.


Please note all start times are 15 minutes before the meeting begins, this is to allow time for Zoom set up. This is also time to allow the interpreters to make sure that that they can communicate with the people they are interpreting for. After this 15 minutes set up timeframe the meeting will start promptly at 6 PM eastern Time. Please don't start times are standard time since we will be in standard time in November.
