Donovan Garrett Wright, 29, of Vienna, WV passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016, at his residence in Vienna. He was born September 29, 1986 to Marvin Ricky Wright of Mineral Wells and Debra Clegg of Davisville.
Donovan graduated from West Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind in Romney, WV. He attended West Virginia University.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents Archie "Eugene" and Janet Knotts of Davisville; paternal grandmother Betty Wright of Boaz; step mother Beverly Wright; step father Michael Clegg; sister Charity Wilhelm (Jay) of Athens, OH; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a niece and nephew.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Howard Wright, and maternal grandfather, Larry Lawson.
A memorial service will be held Saturday 2:00 PM at Williamstown Church of Christ. Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his name to The Friendship Kitchen of North Parkersburg Baptist Church 3109 Emerson Ave, Parkersburg, where Donovan volunteered.
