Federationists,

Please see and read the below email regarding this year‘s 2021 Nfb Washington Seminar. Everyone is encouraged to attend the Great Gathering In this Monday evening, January 8, at 5 PM.

Zoom information is listed below, and as I understand, it will also be streamed live on our YouTube channel (https://youtube.com/user/NationsBlind)

Hope to see you all there for what promises to be the largest and most attended seminar in Nfb history.

> Good morning legislative directors:
>
> Happy last Friday before Washington Seminar! I wanted to send out a quick update to let all of you know the status of a few items before we really dive into next week’s festivities.
>
> First and foremost, all of the notes and the committee assignments have now been entered into the portal. This means that the one page “cheat sheets” are as updated as they are going to get, so you can go ahead and download them whenever you like. There is one important item about the cheat sheets that you should keep in mind. The Senate committee assignments were not finalized until very late this year, so we had to create a workaround that allowed us to enter the assignments in the “notes” section of the sheets rather than the “committees” section. To reiterate, if a member from your Congressional delegation is on a relevant committee to our Washington Seminar issues, it will appear as a note in the notes section of the cheat sheet.
>
> Second, we are seeing the meetings come rolling into the portal and we could not be happier. With that said, there are still a lot of gaps, so if you have not already done so please remember to log into the portal and enter the meetings for your state. If you’re having any trouble logging in, please do not hesitate to contact me and we can get it fixed.
>
> Finally, I wanted to offer a more programmatic note for next week, particularly Monday. We will be covering a lot of very important information regarding meetings and the issues at both the 2:00 p.m. (EST) Legislative Seminar and the 5:00 p.m. (EST) Great Gathering-In on Monday, February 8. We strongly encourage all Washington Seminar Congressional meeting leaders and speakers to attend both of these events. You can find the Zoom access information for these meetings in the 2021 Washington Seminar Agenda. For your convenience, I have also included the Zoom information for both meetings below.
