Below is comprehensive information concerning the National Federation of the Blind Voter Experience Survey. I just completed the survey--a relatively painless process--and would encourage others to do likewise.

Sharing your experience in the election is needed. We advocate for the right of blind and low-vision Americans to vote privately and independently. And,
while our efforts have resulted in much progress, we will continue our work as long as there are blind voters who are denied this fundamental right.

"In spite of the requirement of the Help America Vote Act, which was signed into law in 2002, that every polling place have at least one accessible voting
machine for all federal elections, it is still not uncommon for a blind voter to arrive at their polling place and find that there is no accessible way
for them to vote privately and independently," says Lou Ann Blake, Director of Research Programs, Blindness Initiatives, National Federation of the Blind

All blind and low-vision voters, please share both good and bad voting experiences you've had in this 2022 general election by completing our Blind and
Low-Vision Voter Experience Survey! English and Spanish versions are available below. If someone is not able to access the survey online, they can call
410-659-9314 and get assistance from either Lou Ann Blake (extension 2221) or Jeff Kaloc (extension 2206). Please complete and share the survey.

After completing the survey, please consider posting on social media the voting survey links for other people to submit. Sharing

About Our Voting Efforts and Resources

Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act requires that blind and low-vision voters must be provided an opportunity to vote privately and independently
that is equivalent to the opportunity provided to voters without disabilities. For many years the National Federation of the Blind has advocated for the
right of blind and low-vision Americans to vote privately and independently, and while our efforts have resulted in much progress, we will continue our
work as long as there are blind voters who are denied the private and independent exercise of their fundamental right.
